Working together as a community

Working together as a community

The Broken Chamber of Commerce and Broken Hill City Council meet regularly to discuss issues of economic importance to the region and how the two organisations can work strategically to promote a sustainable future for our region – the Far West of NSW, Australia. The Chamber has a very strong view that for our community to remain strong and continue to provide opportunities for generations to come, that there needs to be a collaborative effort to generate opportunity for business and industry. To achieve this, the Chamber aligns a number of its strategic directions with the Community Strategic Plan – a plan which is developed by a whole of community consultation and revisited on an annual basis. This ensures that community values as well as member expectations are represented in the decision-making process of the Chamber.
