The Broken Hill Chamber of Commerce Customer Service Awards recognise businesses and individuals who have made an impact on a customer due to their excellent customer service skills. In the latest round of awards (DECEMBER 2015), winners included:


Simone Harvy (McDonald’s BROKEN HILL): She is always polite, friendly and super-efficient, always wearing a smile. Fast with your order makes you feel more than a customer.

Lifeline Broken Hill Op Shop: Great layout and presentation of the shop, friendly and helpful staff – “bargain with great service.”

AUGUST 2015: 

IMG_1071The Palace Hotel: The meal was of a very high standard, the service was also of a much higher standard and the whole experience was very enjoyable.


IMG_1075Raeah Foord (Big W Broken Hill): Raeah was absolutely wonderful with her friendly smile and happy personality, just a pleasure to be served by her.

McDonalds ASMcDonalds Broken Hill: The entire operation was in perfect condition. The staff were all pleasant, the floors were spotless, the table service was really  appreciated. Exceptional and far exceeding expectations.

Shanna ASShannan Roberg (McDonalds Restaurant): Shannan was on top of the entire operation and her eye for detail was noted and appreciated by my entire party. Wonderful Manager.

Samuel ASSamuel Coulls (McDonalds Restaurant): Samuel provided exemplary customer service to my family and I when we attended McDonalds. He was helpful without being obtrusive and ensured our every expectation was met.

Trevor Williams (ESTR Personal Training Studios): Trevor’s dedication, professionalism, information, customer support & encouragement to his clients is outstanding. Always has a “Smile on his dial” even at 5:50 am. He is an inspiration & a role model to the health & wellbeing of the future of Broken Hill. 

JULY 2015:

McClures (2)

McClure’s Vehicle Maintenance: Consistent excellent customer service. They always offer a friendly and hassle free service. 


Tamara Cuffe (Office of Sussan Ley MP): Tamara is an asset to the office. She is well presented, professional in her conduct and pleasant to deal with. 

The AstraScott Kelly (Bartender at the Astra): Scott is very polite, customer oriented young man, ready to go extra mile to meet and exceed customer expectations.


Old Royal Tavern (2) Old Royal Tavern: Consistent excellent customer service. Both Steve and Noelene, along with their staff have consistently made visitors welcome with tours and photo’s showing the old and new. Regulars are well looked after with excellent customer service.
