Small Biz Connect is a NSW Government funded program that accelerates participating businesses to economic sustainability, delivering growth and employment to NSW. The Broken Hill Chamber of Commerce proudly supports the Small Biz Connect Program for the Far West of NSW. Included are Central Darling, Broken Hill and Unincorporated regions from Tibooburra, Milparinka, White Cliffs and Silverton in the north to Ivanhoe and Menindee in the South, and east of Broken Hill to Wilcannia.
Business facilitation is predominantly a one-to-one business consultation process with a trained business advisor experienced in starting and growing small to medium enterprises. Workshops and webinars on specific matters of interest are conducted monthly for clients of the program. Webinars are a great way of catering for those who live in very remote areas of the Far West region and parents of young children who cannot physically attend workshops.
As this program is NSW Government funded, your first two one-to-one sessions are provided fully within NSW Government funding. The highly subsidised program provides great value at an affordable cost for all businesses and those wanting to start their own business. Sessions are usually conducted in the rooms of the Chamber of Commerce at 164 Argent Street, Broken Hill at a time that is mutually convenient. Remote visits and visits to business premises will also occur as required. Skype and teleconferencing appointments will be held for those who request it or where distances prevent timely access. Should you choose to continue to work with the Small Biz Connect Program after your first two funded sessions, further sessions are available at the subsidised rate of $44 each for Chamber members or $55 for non-Chamber members. These subsidised fees enable us to provide further extended services to accelerate local business development within our regions. Clients are invited to attend our workshops at a cost of $25 each and enjoy an opportunity to network with other business owners, a valuable tool for business-building in its own right.
